5.6.2 Setting Up MDS-M PCB
Setting up MDS-M PCB is simpler and requires 3 steps as well:
1. Set up dipswitch 1 (S1)
2. Set up dipswitch 2 (S2)
3. Set up dipswitch 3 (S3)
Please refer to page 15 for the location of the dipswitches.

For dipswitch 1, there are 3 functions. S1.1 is to determine whether the PCB is use in the MDS-
A series or a MDS-B series. S1.2 is to determine whether the model is a cooling only model or
heatpump model. Dipswitch S1.3-S1.8 are used to determine the quantity of indoors connected
to the outdoor.
