What to do if McQuay RVSS14 Controller shows F02 (F OL) error?
- RRussell HessAug 4, 2025
If the McQuay Controller displays error code F02 (F OL), begin by inspecting the motor for mechanical issues like jamming or overloading. Next, confirm the accuracy of your motor thermal overload parameter settings (QST 03, P3 and PFN 12-16, P35- 38) and the motor service factor setting (QST 02, P2). Ensure that the motor FLA (QST 01, P1), CT ratio (FUN 03, P68), and burden switch settings are correctly configured. If tripping occurs during startup, examine the acceleration ramp profile settings. Also, check for input line power quality problems or excessive line distortion. Verify that PF caps, if installed, are positioned before the CTs. Finally, reset the overload once the content level drops below 15%.
