Cleaning and Disinfection
Always follow the endoscopes manufacturer’s recommendations pertaining to the reprocessing of
endoscopes and endoscope accessories to ensure that the endoscopes and accessories will be safe for
patient use. A protocol should be developed and followed based on such guidelines.
