5.8. Examination of electric system
During periodical vehicle inspection it is necessary to check:
1. electric hoses/cables for detecting of possible damages – damage to isolation, breaks,
2. screw clamps and connector clamps for detecting of possible loosen connections,
3. proper work of accelerator pedal – no jerking, smooth speed changes,
4. proper work of STOP lights switch – after pressing of brake pedal,
5. proper work of signaling lamp of the pulled hand brake switch after pulling the hand
brake lever
WARNING
Prior to commencement of any interference actions in the vehicle electric
installation, absolutely disconnect batteries hoses (blue hose BAT- and red hose BAT+).
5.9. Troubleshooting
In vehicles, the damages are localized on the basis of their effects or the signal codes
provided by the diode of speed controller (chapter 5.4). In order to eleminate the appeared
damages, it is necessary to either change the faulty device or conduct repair.
Unexpected stop of vehicle during drive:
check if the range indicator and speedometer are lit
check the signals of speed controller diode
check electric hoses for breaks or loosen connections
check the fuse 7,5 A (20A) in steering circuit
check the fuse 200 A (250A) in power supply circuit
check in the sequence as follows: solenoid, key-switch, Not-Aus, accelerator pedal, each
battery, speed controller, F-R switch and motor
During drive with heavy load vehicle drives slowly or stops:
check proper work of the hand brake lever switch
