ATTENTION
While the hand brake is pulled out, vehicle driving system will be blocked and that
will not allow to start the vehicle.
Prior to refilling brake fluid, please check the hoses for detecting eventual leakages.
Checking of brake fluid level in the brake fluid tank
The brake fluid tank is located under the front hood. Open the hood with the lock cord
located under the dashboard on the driver's side.
Brake fluid (DOT-4) should be refilled to the level between „min” and „max” marked
on the tank. Once decrease below “min” value is observed, the signalling lamp of the pulled
hand brake located in the vehicle control panel starts lighting.
In case the signaling lamp of braking system starts to light during driving, stop the
vehicle immediately and determine the cause of failure signaling or contact customer service.
5.14 Mechanical brake system

a parking brake working as an interlock. The brakes are adjustable.
After suitable adjustment, brake linings cannot get into contact with brake drums when
the brakes are released.
ATTENTION
Any contact between brake shoes linings and brake drums will result not only in shorter
brake shoes life, but also decrease in vehicle driving speed, excessive battery discharging,
burning of the fuse 200A (250A) or possibly damage to the motor.
