On-board charger TCE 48V/20 AMPER with DEFA socket in vehicles 427, 447
Charger is adapted for charging of 48V batteries set (6x8V) batteries 8V
1. Charging signal lamp (located on charger)
2. Socket 230Vac of on-board charger (DEFA)
3. Power supply cable from DEFA kit
Before charging process:
• Turn the key-switch off and press emergency switch NOT-AUS.
In order to start charging of batteries, connect the socket (item 2) on the vehicle to the
socket with the power cable (item 3). The charger starts charging after a few seconds. The
charging indicator (item 1) lights up orange and remains solid until the batteries are fully
charged. If the batteries were charged when the charger was switched on, the charging process
will take 1 hour - this is the minimum charging time.
When the batteries are fully charged, the charge indicator light turns green.
ATTENTION
On-board charger is mounted in the chamber of speed controller and within it, at the
time of connection with 230V socket power, voltage occurs.
Do not flood. Do not conduct any activities near battery charger while charging plug is
connected to the supply net.
When battery charger is switched on, electric blockade of moving of vehicle is on
automatically.
Before start using of on-board charger read manual carefully.
WARNING
Use the principle of connecting the vehicle to the supply power socket:
1. During connecting: power supply cable switch on to vehicle first and then to
230V socket.
