- Oil level in engine
- Coolant level
- Hydraulic clutc h control , hydraulic different ial lock contro l and hydraulic brake
system - fluid level
- Power steering - oil level
- Winds hield washer sys tem, headlight washer system - fluid level
- Soiling of air cleaner
- Batteries - fluid leve l
- Trailer coup ling
- Inflation pressure and condition of tires
- Seat belts
- Engine, transmission, live axle, steering system, cooling and heating system· for
leaks
Oil level in engine
- Opening the engine compartmen t flap
Chec king oil level:
- Engine at normal operating temperature
The engine should have been at this temperature for some time.
- Vehicle standing on level ground.
- Wait at least 2 minutes after switching off engine.
The oil must be between the bottom and top marks on the dipstick.
Do not top up above max. mark.
Caution!
Use only engine oils of the approved SAE classes.
Refer to section 4.1 .
- Close engine compartment flap.
