OUTBOARD INSTALLATION

This outboard has a speedometer water pick‑up located in the
leading edge of the gearcase. If you want to use this water pickup
for the speedometer, disconnect the water pickup tubing from the
speedometer sensor and route tubing out of the cowl. Install the
coupler provided with the outboard on the end of the tubing.
Make the water pressure gauge hose connection to the tubing as
shown.

INSTALLING THE SHIFT CABLE
IMPORTANT: The shift cable is the first cable to move when the
remote control handle is moved out of neutral, so install/connect it
to the engine first.
