4. Turn the key switch to ON. Continue turning the key switch
clockwise to start the motor.
a - Off
b - On
c - Start
5. Release the key switch as soon as the engine starts. The key
will return to the ON position automatically.
6. Push back the choke knob slowly.

7. Carefully turn the throttle grip to "SLOW."

IMPORTANT: Please follow the instructions below:
• Extended operation of the starter motor will run the battery
down. Operate the starter motor for a maximum of five
seconds. If the engine does not start, wait for 10 seconds
before operating the starter motor again.
