Trim up: If the trim angle is low, the bow will dip into the water
and the speed will decrease. Water may also enter the boat.
In this case, the trim angle should be increased by pressing
the switch on the remote control lever to UP.

Steering Friction Adjustment
Steering friction can be adjusted according to your preference with
the steering co‑pilot.
!
WARNING
Insufficient friction adjustment can cause serious injury or death
due to loss of boat control. When setting the friction adjustment,
maintain sufficient steering friction to prevent the outboard from
steering into a full turn if the tiller handle or steering wheel is
released.
Adjust the steering co‑pilot to achieve desired steering friction.
Turn clockwise for more friction.
Turn counterclockwise for less friction.
