Trim up: If the trim angle is low, the bow will dip into the water,
the speed will decrease, and water may enter the boat. In this
case, the trim angle should be increased by setting the trim
position pin in a higher hole.

The provided power trim and tilt can be adjusted to set the desired
trim angle of the engine in relation to the transom shape, planing
speeds, and load. It is imperative that the trim angle is adjusted
correctly. Incorrect adjustment will cause the boat to sway,
deteriorate engine performance, and may cause unsafe steering
conditions.
IMPORTANT: The power trim and tilt can be set to trim angle,
however, avoid cruising with the engine tilted in the tilt range.
Operating the boat in this manner, the engine may suck air into the
water cooling system resulting in engine overheating.
