Engine Serial Number
The engine serial number stamp is located on the starboard side of the engine block next to the flywheel housing cover.

Bravo Sterndrive Serial Number and Identification
The Bravo sterndrive serial number, gear ratio, model number, and bar code are embedded in the ground plate on the port side
of the sterndrive.
Bravo sterndrive information on ground plate
The serial number is also stamped on the driveshaft housing behind the back cover. This is used as a permanent reference for
authorized MerCruiser dealers.
