5 Maintenance
5.1 Batteries
Battery condition is always displayed. See the battery condition indicator in the left
side of the display. Observe the battery condition even during measurements. Results
obtained with low battery voltage (the results may be incorrect) will be marked with
“bat” mark after finishing the measurement.
Replace all four batteries when they are empty in static mode (no measurement
is running) or when the battery indicator shows an empty frame just
temporarily, while a measurement is running!
Nominal power supply voltage is 6 VDC. Use four 1.5V alkaline batteries type IEC
LR14 (dimensions: diameter = 26mm, height = 50mm).

One set of full-capacity batteries can supply the instrument for approx. 50
hours at the ratio measurement / pause = 5 s / 25 s.
- Disconnect test cable and switch off the instrument, before
removing battery compartment cover!
- Hazardous voltage under the battery compartment cover!
