The keyless entry switch can be
turned on/o in infotainment cluser
settings under “Menu - Vehicle
settings - Door & windows - Lock -
Approach unlock” when
approaching. When the key is close to
the vehicle, the vehicle unlocks
automatically; When the key is away
from the vehicle, Lock automatically
when away from the vehicle PEPS
triggering conditions (all the following
conditions are met simultaneously):
• All doors close;
• The locks on the driver's or front
passenger's side provide
feedback indicating whether they
are unlocked.
• No valid key inside the vehicle,
and a valid key is found within the
eective range outside the
vehicle's Passive Entry (PE) area.

c. Replace the battery
Inside the key remote control, there
is a lithium battery whose service life
is 2 years generally. When the
remote control distance is
shortened gradually (must be closer
to the vehicle to remotely control), it
indicates a low battery. The key
battery cannot be charged. After the
battery runs out, please reach out
the JSW MG authorised service
center to have the battery changed
or follow these steps to change the
battery:
1. Remove the mechanical key by
pressing the release button.
2. Use a slim tool to pry open the
rear cover of the smart key.
3. Remove the old battery and insert
the new battery (CR2032). Make
sure the battery position is
correct.
4. Reinstall the rear cover of the
smart key.
