Overview
After unlocking the vehicle, open the
driver's side door. The infotainment
cluster will activate, and the vehicle
will enter the HV state. In HV state, all
hybrid circuits are active, allowing
you to engage the gear for driving and
the A/C system can provide cooling
while in HV state.
a. Jump Starting
If you cannot unlock the vehicle with
the remote control or if nothing
appears on the instrument cluster,
the 12V battery might be low.
In this situation, you can use another
vehicle's 12V battery to jump start
your vehicle, unless you are confident
in your electrical knowledge and can
do it safely.
b. Before Jump Starting
1. Place the vehicles close enough so
the jumper cables can reach but
ensure that their body parts do not
touch.
2. Always avoid fans or any moving
parts in the engine compartment,
even when the vehicles are
switched o.
3. Turn o all electrical devices like
radios, lights, and air conditioning.
Put both vehicles in Park (P) and
EMERGENCY & BREAKDOWN
NOTE
Turn o the audio and other
equipment before jump starting.

engage the parking brake. Turn o
both vehicles.
4. Open the hood (bonnet).
5. Take o the battery cover inside
the front trunk.
6. Remove the cover of the engine
compartment fuse box.
