Vehicle Storage
a. Long-term Storage
• Several months of vehicle
storage.
• Clean and wax the vehicle.
• Check the wax coating of front
compartment and the
underbody.
• Clean and protect the rubber
seal.
• Drain the washing fluid reservoir.
• Adjust the tire pressure
according to the specified value
under full load.
• Charge the HV battery to about
60%. Park the vehicle in a dry
and well- ventilated area.
• Check that the EPB is applied
and the vehicle will not move.
Close all doors and lock the
vehicle.
• Disconnect the wire clamp from
the vehicle 12V battery negative
terminal. Please note that all
systems are out of service at this
time, e.g., theft alarm system.
b. When the vehicle is to be put
back into service:
• Connect the wire clamp to the
12V battery negative terminal.
Enable the electronic device of
power window.
c. Driver checklist
• Regularly check the interior,
exterior and front compartment of
the vehicle to keep it safe and
reliable.
d. Regular checks
1. Exterior
Tire
• Inflate tires correctly. (Refer to
"Wheels and tires" in this
section).
• There is no crack on tire wall or
tire tread.
• There are no foreign matters in
tread pattern.
Lamp
• Include all driving lamps,
headlamps, tail lamps, turn signal
lamps, brake lamps and rear fog
lamps.
