CAUTION
c. Emergency Towing
If a towing truck is not available during
an emergency, you can temporarily
secure a rope to the front towing hook
under the vehicle for traction.
When towing the vehicle using the
front towing hook, only use a tow
rope. Do not use a rigid tow bar.
Your vehicle can be towed by other
vehicles, but it should not be used to
tow other vehicles.

Ensure the tow rope does not
touch the bumper.
Secure both ends of the tow
rope tightly to the towing hook.
Check the rope for any signs of

and maintain a low towing

Do not tow the vehicle if the
wheel, axle, steering, or brakes
are damaged.
Do not remove the key from the
ignition switch to prevent the
steering wheel from locking and
immobilizing the vehicle.

If the vehicle needs to be towed
from the front, make sure to use a
towing device that lifts the rear
wheels o the ground. The rear
wheels should not touch the
ground during towing from the
front. If the rear wheels are on the
ground during towing, it can cause
signicant damage to the car's
engine.

ropes, there is a risk of damage.
