If other liftgate opening methods are
invalid, the liftgate can be opened
temporarily as per the following
steps:
1. Adjust the seat and enter the
trunk.
2. Open the trim cover outside the
liftgate lock.
3. Insert a suitable tool (e.g., a
straight screwdriver) into the
groove and turn clockwise to
unlock the liftgate.

Tailgate open*
Depending on the vehicle
configuration, some models are
equipped with this function, as
shown in the image. This function
can be operated in infotainment
cluster under Door & windows
“Menu - Vehicle settings - Doors and
windows - Tailgate - ON”.
Clicking "Tailgate ON” unlocks the
tailgate and opens it automatically.
