6 DEVICE CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The machine must be cleaned regularly in accordance with the following specifications in order
to ensure fault-free operation and hygienic standards. You can find information relating to this in
the enclosed Cleaning Instructions.
6.1 PREPARING FOR CLEANING
Caution! Impending danger due to electric shocks
The machine may only be cleaned when it is switched off.
In this case, the power connector must be pulled out or the machine
must be switched off via the main switch.
When handling the blade, take the utmost care because there is a high
risk of cutting yourself.
Wear cut-resistant gloves!
6.2 CLEANING
Check the cleanliness of all cleaning utensils (brushes, cloths) prior to cleaning. Never use
contaminated cleaning utensils. Brushes used for cleaning the floor must never be used in the
machine.
The cloths or tissues used for cleaning must be clean and moistened as required (e.g.
disposable cloths). Cleaning using a wet, dripping tissue or cloth must always be avoided. Pick
up excess liquid or drips immediately.
The device can be cleaned with standard cleaning and disinfection agents. However, do not use
scouring agents or agents containing chlorine.
Only use water of drinking water quality for cleaning. Household dishwasher detergents (e.g.
Pril or equivalent) can be added.
Fast-action disinfectants based on alcohol (e.g. Johnson Diversey SUMA QUICKSAN or
equivalent) are suitable for disinfection.
After each cleaning process, dry any surfaces that are still damp.
NOTE!
Failure to observe these restrictions on cleaning can lead to the
exclusion of guarantee and warranty claims. Cleaning with a water jet
is not permitted!
