7.2 READJUSTING THE FEED BELT
Switch the machine off at the master switch.
The side cover panel (1) must be removed for this work.
Undo the 7 fastening screws (2) to do so.
The cover panel can now be removed.
Test the upwards deflection of the feed belt (3) by hand
at Position A.
The permissible and recommended deflection is approx. 30mm.
The recommended frequency of the belt is 35-40Hz.
The feed belt (3) is tensioned by means of the retaining plate (4).
This is achieved by undoing the hexagonal nut, WAF 10 (5) and adjusting to the recommended
tension with the tensioning screw (6).
You should then tighten the hexagonal nut, WAF 10 (5) again.
Reinstall the side cover panel (1).
NOTE!
Readjusting the toothed belt can cause excessive tension which would
negatively affect the operational lifetime of the drive components.
Before releasing for operation, a trial run must be carried out in accordance with chapter 5.1
and the safety functions must be checked in accordance with chapter 2.4.
