Frequency of Refrigerant Leak Checks:
1)Forequipmentthatcontainsuorinatedgreenhousegasesinquantitiesof5tonnesofCO2equivalentormore,but
of less than 50 tonnes of CO2 equipment,at least every 12 months, or where a leakage detection system is installed,
at least every 24 months.
2)Forequipmentthatcontainsuorinatedgreenhousegasesinquantitiesof50tonnesofCO2equivalentormore,but
oflessthan500tonnesofCO2equipment,atleasteverysixmonths,orwherealeakagedetectionsystemisinstalled,
at least every 12 months.
3)Forequipmentthatcontainsuorinatedgreenhousegasesinquantitiesof500tonnesofCO2equivalentormore,at
leasteverythreemonths,orwherealeakagedetectionsystemisinstalled,atleasteverysixmonths.
4)Non-hermeticallysealedequipmentchargedwithuorinatedgreenhousegasesshallonlybesoldtotheenduser
whereevidenceisprovidethattheinstallationistobecarriedoutbyanundertakingcertiedperson.
5)Onlycerticatedpersonisallowedtodoinstallation,operationandmaintenance.
