A Dust Compartment Lid Removal, 030 4.2.
A Remove the bag holder (Bag Holder Replacement, 020 4.1).
A Take of f the seal surrounding the dust compartment.
A Take out the exhaust (HEPA or AirClean) filter and filter frame.
A Remove the four T20 screws securing the cover frame (020 Fig. 2, Pos. 1).
A Remove the right foot switch (cord rewind) (040 Fig. 8).
A Remove the retaining screw (T20) underneath.
A Push down inside the base and pull up on the cover frame to remove (020
Fig. 2, Pos. A). The bumper strip will also come off.
