A Open the lid approximately 2 inches.
A Hold the vacuum cleaner with one hand; with the other hand, lift the lid up and
disengage it from the pins.
A When reinstalling the lid, push it slowly onto the torsion spring (030 Fig. 1,
Pos. 1) and then onto the pins.
4.2 Dust Compartment Lid Removal
A Open the dust compartment lid to its stop.
A Bend the dust compartment lid backwards slightly to release it (030 Fig. 2,
Pos. 2).
A When reinstalling the lid, place the two hinges in their openings (030 Fig. 2,
Pos. 1), then slowly close the lid.
