. This plasma cutting unit is not recommended for
connection to a Hobart Champion 10,000.
! DO NOT let generator go to idle speed;
otherwise, serious damage can result to
power source. Engine Control Switch must
be set at “RUN” position not “RUN/IDLE”.
! Set generator Fine Adjustment Control
to 10 for maximum auxiliary power.
Coarse adjust control has no effect. Weld Process control has no effect.
! Set Output A amperage adjustment
control to 45 amperes or lower to
reduce load on welding generator
and to prevent arc outages. This
recommended amperage setting
applies when connecting the plasma
cutting unit to welding generators
that have an auxiliary power output
rating between 8-10 kVA.
