Prior to Pump tube washing
Prior to washing of the pump tube, it is required that the cleaning solution has been filled within the tube.
Filling Cleaning solution

Select [HD.MAINTENANCE] of the maintenance menu.
(1) Press the key in the local mode.
(2) Select [MAINTENANCE] by pressing the keys then press the key.
(3) Select [HD.MAINTENANCE] by pressing the keys.
(4) Press the key.

Select [MaintWashLiquid] by pressing
the keys.

Press the key.
• Proceed to the step 6 when a normal cartridge
has been set.

Set a cleaning solution cartridge.

Press the key.
• Filling of the cleaning solution is started.
• When the following messages are indicated, check the waste ink tank, and then operate it,
referring to P.4-42 "If Waste ink tank confirming message is displayed" according to the situa-
tion.
