TAKING PICTURES
In a recording mode, press the exposure-
compensation/lock button.
The current exposure compensation value
appears on the data panel and in the lower-
left corner of the LCD monitor.
Press the scroll ( )buttons to select
the exposure-compensation value.
The exposure can be adjusted by as much as
± 2 EVs in 0.5 increments.
The change in exposure is visible in the live
image on the LCD monitor.

The exposure can be adjusted to make the final image lighter or darker. Exposure can
be adjusted as much as ± 2 EVs in 0.5 increments. Exposure compensation must be
set before the picture is taken. Exposure compensation can be used in all recording
modes.
