If this is enabled, your phone's Message Waiting lamp will be on whenever
you have a phone message waiting for you.
To disable the Message Waiting Indicator lamp on your phone, follow these
steps:
1 Select My Voice Mail in the left menu.
2 In the Receiving Voice Mail section, uncheck the checkbox for Use
phone Message Waiting Indicator.
3 Select the Save button to save the information.
Configure email notification of voice messages
To configure the system to send you an email whenever a voice message is
deposited in your voice mailbox, follow these steps:
1 Select My Voice Mail in the left menu.
2 In the Receiving Voice Mail section, check the box for Send a
notification to this email address.
3 Fill in the email address to which you want the notifications sent.
4 Select the Save button to save the information.
Note that this only sends a notification to your email address. It does not send
the voice message. To configure the sending of the voice message, see
“Configure email forwarding of voice messages” on page 145.
To configure the system so that it does not send you an email whenever a
voice message is deposited in your voice mailbox, follow these steps:
1 Select My Voice Mail in the left menu.
2 In the Receiving Voice Mail section, uncheck the box for Send a
notification to this email address.
3 Select the Save button to save the information.
Configure email forwarding of voice messages
To configure the system to send you an email containing the voice message
when it is deposited in your voice mailbox, follow these steps:
1 Select My Voice Mail in the left menu.
2 In the Receiving Voice Mail section, check the box for Send a copy of
the Voice Mail as an email attachment to this email address.
3 Select delete or keep to indicate if you want a copy of the voice mail kept
on the voice mail system. If you select keep, then you will also be able to
retrieve the message using your phone's message retrieval key. See
