1.6 Submaster Function
A disconnected submaster station is always returned as a submaster operating station.
When the operation is switched, a data link error is temporarily detected. To continue the control with the
output of the slave station being held, configure the settings of each station as follows:
• Master/local module: Set "Data Link Error Station Setting" to "Hold" under "I/O Maintenance Settings" under
"Supplementary Cyclic Settings" in "Application Settings". ( Page 139 Supplementary Cyclic Settings)
• Modules other than a master/local module: Configure the settings where the output of the slave station is
held upon a data link error. ( Manual for the slave station used)
