3 Controller
3.1.2 Protection specifications and operating supply
(1) Protection specifications
A protection method complying with the IEC Standard IP20 (Opened type) is adopted for CR800
controller.
The IEC IP symbols refer only to the degree of protection between the solid and the fluids, and don't
indicated that any special protection has been constructed for the prevention against oil and water.

equipment.
(2) Operating supply
The controller is supposed to be installed and used in the customer's system. Supply the primary power of
the controller from the system. In addition, provide a safety device (ex. earth-leakage current breaker) that
can shut off the power of the controller in the customer's system. When using the earth-leakage current
breaker as a safety device, select the product that meets the following specifications.
