3.7 Additional Axis Function
This controller is equipped with an additional axis interface for controlling an additional axis when a traveling axis or rotary
table is added to the robot. A maximum of eight axes of servo motors can be controlled at the same time by connecting a
general-purpose servo amplifier (MR-J4-B series) that supports Mitsubishi's SSCNET III.
Refer to the separate "Additional axis interface Instruction Manual" for details on the additional axis function.
3.7.1 Wiring of the Additional Axis Interface
Table 3-7 shows the connectors for additional axes inside the controller.
Fig. 3-11 shows a connection example (configuration example).
