STARTING AND STOPPING ENGINE

el et comprenez-les bien avant de commencer.
Dé-marrer
1 Robinet de carburant
Ouvrir.
Ouvrir le robinet de carburant.
2 Interrupteur du moteur (type à bascule)
  Mettrel’interrupteurdumoteurenpositionmarche.
3 Levier d’accélération et interrupteur du moteur
Ouvrezlégèrement.
  Ouvrezlégèrementlelevierdupapillondesgazdans
la direc-tion de la position grande vitesse.
4 Levier de l’accélérateur
Fermer.
• Mettez le levier du starter en position de ferme-
ture complète.
Note
   Encasd'utilisationpartempschaud(température
ambiante≥35°Cenviron)ouencasderedémarrage
immédiatementaprès l'arrêt,essayezdedémarrerle
moteur en mettant le levier en position d'ouverture
complèteouenpositionintermédiaire.
5 Démarrage avec le démarreur électrique
  •Saisissezlapoignéedudémarreur,tirez-lalégère-
mentjusqu’à sentirledébutdelacompressionpuis
tirez-la vigoureusement à partir de cette position.
  •Unefoisquelemoteuradémarré,laissezrevenir
lentement la poignée du démarreur dans sa position
initiale.
6 Démarrage avec le démarreur
  •Placezla clédecontactsurlaposition “Start”pour
démarrer le moteur.
  •Lorsquelemoteurrefusededémarreraprèsavoir
actionnéledémarreurélectriquependant5secondes,
attendez5secondesavantderéessayer.
  •Laclédecontactretourneautomatiquementdansla
posi-tion“Run”lorsquevouscessezdemaintenirla
clé en position de démarrage.
7 Après le démarrage
  Après ledémarrage,déplacezgraduellementlelevier
du star-ter vers la position Ouvert en observant le
régime du moteur.
Attention
  •Aprèsledémarragedumoteur,toujoursvérifierque
le levier d'étrangleur est complément ouvert. Le
fonctionnement avec le levier d'étrangleur fermé
pourrait entraîner des pannes du moteur.
  •Aprèsavoirfaitchaufferlemoteuràgrandevitesse
(pourenviron5minutes),changerlelevier
d’accélérationàlavitessesouhaitée.(Lefonc-
tionnement du moteur à basse vitesse pendant une
longuepériodepourraitenflammerlafiche
d’allumage.)

8 Levier du papillon des gaz
Vitesse réduite
Placez le levier du papillon des gaz en position basse
vitesse et laissez tourner le moteur pendant 1 à 2 min-
utes.
9 Interrupteur du moteur (type à bascule)
Placez l’interrupteur du moteur en posi-tion Arrêt ou
tournez la clé de contact sur la position Arrêt (OFF).
0 Fuel cock
Fermer.
Fermer le robinet de carburant.
COMMENT DÉMARRER ET ARRÊTER LE MOTEUR

Turn the key switch to
“Start” position.
If the engine does not start
after running of the electric
starter for 5 seconds, wait
5 seconds before trying to
start again.
After turning the switch to
the “Start” position and
releasing the key switch
will automatically return to
the “Run” position.
Starting with the electric-starter
After starting the engine, always confirm that
the choke lever is fully opened. Operating
with the choke lever closed could result in
engine failures.
After warming the engine at a high speed (for
about 5 minutes), change the throttle lever to
desired speed. (Running the engine at
around low speed for a long time could
smoulder the ignition plug.)
After starting the engine, gradually return the
choke lever to the open position while
watching how the engine is running.

•

Hold onto the starter grip and lightly pull it until the
compression position is reached and then pull
swiftly from this position.
Slowly return the starter grip to its original position
after the engine starts.
When you use the engine in
a warm temperature (about
35ºC or higher) or restart it
immediately after stopping
the operation, try to start it by
opening the choke fully or
partly.
• Close the choke lever fully.

position and keep the engine
