The relation of the hook (bobbin case) position and upper stop plate (balance's uppermost
position) is shown below.
The upper stop position (balance's uppermost position) is the position where the bobbin case
holding spring knob (1) and holding spring release pin (2) are aligned as shown in the figure.
(If the bobbin removal lever (3) is pressed to the right in this state, the bobbin case will open.)
