Apply the seal strip to the top of the bulkhead, trimming ends to fit the bed edge.
Place the rail on the truck bed cap, ensuring the rubber flap seal is flat.
Slide clamps to capture truck bed rail and cover rail, with nut facing inside.
Position front, rear, and middle clamps, then tighten while ensuring rail is square.
Remove cargo rail end caps and tie-down cleats before installation.
Slide the bed cover rail into the top of the cargo rail from the tailgate end.
Position front tie-down cleat, reinstall cargo rail with cover rail without tightening.
Slide bed cover rail forward to bulkhead, then tighten cargo rail fasteners.
Push threaded post up into pre-drilled cab panel hole.
Place buckle over holes and secure with screw into post.
Position the folded cover on the mounted rails at the front/cab end.
Align front panel forward, ensuring seal sits on bulkhead and rail squarely.
Insert flat bolt through washer into cab panel hole and rail bracket.
From underneath, attach washers and knob to the flat bolt.
Unfold cover, adjust side-to-side squareness, and re-tighten knobs.
Ensure cover frame fits inside tailgate with ~1/4" clearance.
Insert one end of the drain hose onto the cover rail drain nozzle.
Route the other end through the lower access hole in the bed liner.
For drop-in liners, remove anchor cover and cut a hole for the drain hose.
Remove adhesive backing and mount three cab bumpers along the top edge.
Clip the ball socket end over the ball mount on the rail.
Fold cover open, lift forward, release prop rod, and secure with lock plate.
Fold cover to last position, ensure latches remain secure to the rail.
Unclip tie-down strap and clip to bed cover top buckle, adjust for tightness.
Close the tail panel with tailgate up or down, ensuring both latches engage.
Reach under panel for release cable to release latches and lift panel open.
Fold the truck bed cover to the forward position.
Remove all mounting hardware securing the cover.
Carefully lift and remove the entire cover from the truck bed.
Use automotive soap and water with a soft cloth; avoid harsh cleaners.
Check that cover is securely attached and clamps/bolts are tight.
Periodically inspect and lubricate latches with silicone spray for free movement.
