NOTE: Using soapy water will help
to slide the rail along the cargo rail.
With the cargo rail removed from the
truck bed, slide the bed cover rail into
the top of the cargo rail from the back/
tailgate end. The cover rail is oriented
with the slotted bracket (3) in front and
on the inside of the truck bed.
The bed cover rail uses the rounded
clip ends (4) to spring into the cargo rail
groove (5).

Slide the bed cover rail forward until it firmly
contacts the bulkhead. Tighten the cargo rail
fasteners to 8 N-m.
While sliding the bed cover rail into the
cargo rail, the front/cab tie down cleat (6)
needs to be placed between the bed cover
prop rod (7) and rail drain (8).
The tie down cleat will follow in this
position as the cover rail moves into place.

using the same fasteners, do not tighten.
