Enabling Talkgroup Scanning
When and where to use:If you want to monitor any TMO Group Call in the defined talkgroup list.
Procedure:
1 From the home screen, press the Menu/OK key.
2 Select Scanning.
3 Select one of the following options:
• On – to activate scanning.
• Off – to deactivate scanning.

Activating Talkgroup Scanning
Prerequisites:Talkgroup scanning must be enabled.

Procedure:
1 From the home screen, press the Menu/OK key.
2 Select Scanning→Select List.
3 Select the required Scan List and press Menu/OK.
4 Select Select and press Menu/OK.
Your radio is scanning on the predefined scan list.

Viewing Scan Lists
When and where to use:Viewing information on a selected talkgroup in the selected scan list.
Procedure:
1 From the home screen, press the Menu/OK key.
2 Select Scanning→Select List→<Scan List>.
3 Select one of the following options:
• View→<Talkgroup> – Displays information on the selected talkgroup in the selected scan
list.
• Capacity – Displays the number of talkgroups in the selected scan list.

Renaming Scan List
When and where to use:Entering a new name for the selected Scan List.
Procedure:
1 From the home screen, press the Menu/OK key.
2 Select Scanning→Select List→<Scan List>→Rename.
