SNMP Trap Settings
Parameters Description
SNMP trap server IP
Use this field to indicate the IP address to use for receiving SNMP traps.
Trap version Use this field to select the SNMP trap version.
Trap community Use this field to designate the SNMP trap community.
SNMP Agent Settings
Parameters Description
SNMP To enable the SNMP Agent function, select the Enable option, and enter a
community name (e.g., public).
Contact name The optional SNMP contact information usually includes an emergency contact
name and telephone number.
This is a text password mechanism that is used to weakly authenticate queries
to agents of managed network devices.
Write community string This is a text password mechanism that is used to weakly authenticate changes
to agents of managed network devices.
SNMP agent version The MGate 5109 supports SNMP V1, V2c, and V3.
