Red
Power is on and the NPort is booting up.
Blinking:
Indicates an IP conflict, or the DHCP or BOOTP server did not
respond properly.
Green
Power is on, and the NPort is functioning normally
Blinking:
The device server has been located by NPort Administrator’s
Location function.
Power is off, or a power error condition exists.
Tx/Rx,
P1 to P16
The serial port is receiving data.
The serial port is transmitting data.
Data is NOT being transmitted or received through the serial port.
LAN
The Ethernet port is connected, but data is NOT being transmitted.
The Ethernet port is connected, and data is being transmitted.
The Ethernet port is disconnected.
PWR
Power cable is connected and provides electricity properly.
Power cable is disconnected.

The NPort is operational.
Blinking:
The NPort is responding to NPort Administrator’s Location
function, or the NPort is being reset to factory defaults.
Power is off, or power error condition exists.
Fault
Red
Indicates an IP conflict, or the DHCP or BOOTP server did not respond
properly.
No fault condition detected.
Network is connected, data is being transmitted.
ETH 1, ETH2
Network is connected, no data is being transmitted.
Network is connected, data is being transmitted.
(P1 to P8)
Serial port has been opened by server side software.
Serial port is not currently opened by host side software.
Tx/Rx
(P1 to P8)
Serial device is transmitting data.
Serial device is receiving data.
No data is flowing to or from the serial port.

The device is connected to a 10 Mbps Ethernet connection.
The device is connected to a 100 Mbps Ethernet connection.
The Ethernet cable is disconnected, or has a short.
P1, P2, P3, P4
The serial port is receiving data.
The serial port is transmitting data.
Data is NOT being transmitted or received through the serial port.
