Followtheinstructionsbelowwhenattachingductsorexiblehosestotheairconnections.Theprocessand
reactivationairinletanddryairoutletcanbeconnectedtoaductsystemorbeusedwithfreeinletandoutlet.
Thewetairoutletmustalwaysbeconnectedtoaductorhose,whichmustbettedatadownwardangle
(awayfromthedehumidier)sothatcondensationisdrained.
■Ductlengthmustbekeptasshortaspossibletominimisestaticpressureloss.
■Allductandhoseconnectionsmustbeairtightandvapourtighttoensurefullperformance.
■Thewetairductorhosemustbemountedatadownwardanglesothatcondensationcanbedrained.
Thewetairhoseorductmusthavesuitabledrainageatlowtemperaturestopreventpoolingof
condensate.Alternatively,condensationcanbeavoidedbyinsulatingtheductwithatleast25mmof
insulation.
■Covertheductopeningforoutdoorairwithmeshtopreventbirdsandrodentsfromenteringtheunit.
Positiontheopeningsothatrainandsnowcannotentertheduct.
■Thewetairductorhosemustbecorrosionresistantandabletowithstandtemperaturesupto70°C.
■Thewetairisnormallytransportedoutdoors.Inlargepremiseswherethedehumidierisoutsideofthe
spacetobedehumidied,thewetaircanbeledawayneartheunit.Positiontheoutletsothatthewetair
doesnotblowtowardsmoisture-sensitiveobjects.
■Theminimumdistancebetweenthereactivationinletorwetairoutletandthewallis0.5m.
■Theltersforbothprocessandreactivationaircanbereplacedwithouthavingtodetachductsorhoses.

4.4Hoselengthandoriceplateaffectstheairow
Wetair/reactivationair
Thedehumidierisequippedwithanoriceplate(A)inthewetairoutlet.Whenawallpipeisconnected
tothehose(see4.5,Mountingtheunitonthewall),oriftheexiblehoseorductislongerthan5m(max.10
m),theoriceplatemustberemoved.
Dryair/processair
Thehoseorductfordryandprocessaircanhaveatotallengthof10mbeforedehumidicationcapacityis
affected.Theconnectionpiece(B)makesitpossibletoconnectthedryairoutlettoahoseorductsystem.
