3.10 COLLAR INSTALLATION

WARNING
FAILURE TO CREATE A SEAL TO THE FIREBOX WITH THE EXHAUST COLLAR ASSEMBLY WILL CAUSE
THE APPLIANCE TO FUNCTION IMPROPERLY AND CAN CAUSE INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.
1. Slide the gasket over the collar. Place evenly over the collar fl ange.
2. Install the collar assembly inside the appliance. Slide the collar assembly upwards until the fl ange
reaches the top of the appliance. Align holes in fl ange with the screw holes in appliance.
3. Install four screw to secure collar assembly to appliance.
4. Insert the vent pipes through the fi restop maintaining the required clearance to combustibles. Holding
the air terminal (lettering in an upright, readable position), secure to the exterior wall and make weather
tight by sealing with caulking (not supplied)
