Intel SSD Toolbox does not communicate with drives on some systems
Onsomesystems,IntelSSDToolboxdoescommunicatewithdrivesandall
functionalityisdisabled.Thereisnoworkaroundforthisissue.
RAID volume may display extended serial number
WhenaRAIDvolumeisselectedonthehomescreen,theserialnumbermaycontain
anextendednumberofcharacters.Thereisnoworkaroundforthisissue.
SSD may report BAD_CONTEXT if Secure Erase operation is interrupted
DuringaSecureEraseoperation,iftheSSDlosespoweroriftheSSDisremovedfrom
thesystemoncetheSecureEraseoperationis40%ormorecomplete,theSSDmay
reportBAD_CONTEXTintheSerialNumberfield.Thereisnoworkaroundforthis
issue.
Intel SSD Optimizer fails to complete and temporary files remain on system
OnNewTechnologyFileSystem(NTFS)partitionswithallocationsizesof32Kor64K,
theIntelSSDOptimizerfailstocompleteandleavestemporaryfilesonthe targetSSD.
Thereisnoworkaroundforthisissue;however,ifthisoccurs,considerremovingthe
partitionandrecreatingitwithasmallerallocation
size.
