Installation Restrictions
•BeforeinstallingtheRealPOS40,readandfollowtheguidelinesintheRealPOS40
SitePreparationGuide(B005‐0000‐1552)andtheNCRWorkstationand
PeripheralACWiringGuide(BST0‐2115‐53).
•InstalltheRealPOS40nearanelectricaloutletthatiseasilyaccessible.Usethe
powercordasapower
disconnectdevice.
•Donotpermitanyobjecttorestonthepowercord.DonotlocatetheRealPOS40
wherethepowercordcanbewalkedon.
•Useagroundingstraportouchagroundedmetalobjecttodischargeanystatic
electricityfromyourbodybeforeservicingtheRealPOS40.
