12.SHORT MESSAGE
The handset can send or receive short messages (instant
messages). Up to 100 messages can be stored in Inbox
and Outbox respectively and up to 10 drafts can be
stored. If you receive a call while creating a message, it
is automatically saved as a draft message.
• SHORT MESSAGE INDICATION
When you receive a message, the handset displays
icon as shown below. This is an indication that you
have received a message.
• TO VIEW SHORT MESSAGE
- Press soft key in standby mode to display
the main menu.
- Press key to select “08. Short Message” and then
press soft key.
- The handset displays the Short Message menu.
- Press key to select “01. Inbox”or “02. Outbox”.
