2.3.4 COM Ports on POC-200/210
POC-200 and POC-210 provide four COM ports via four 9-pin D-Sub male connectors on
the back panel for communicating with external devices. They are implemented using
industrial-grade ITE8783 Super IO chip (-40 to 85°C) and provide up to 115200 bps baud
rate.
COM1/COM3 are software-selectable RS-232/422/485 ports and COM2/COM4 support
RS-232 only. The operation mode of COM1/COM3 can be set in BIOS setup utility (refer to
section 4.1.1/4.1.2 for detail). The following table describes the pin definition of COM ports.
