Change from
WEP to WPA
encryption
WPA-PSK is the Frontier standard for wireless network encryption. WEP or
open (i.e., no encryption) should only be used if the customer has specific
needs or insists. Explain to the customer that using WPA-PSK encryption
ensures that the wireless communications between their wireless clients and
the NETGEAR 7550 gateway’s wireless access point are secure.
Follow these steps to change the wireless network configuration from WEP to
WPA:
