4.5 Using External Steering System
If you are planning on using the motor only for forward/reverse
propulsion and are using other methods to steer such as a paddle, you
can x the motor direction with the following steps:
1. Remove the cords on the steering triangle.
2. Insert the xing pin into the hole as shown.
3. Find the premade hole for xing pin, align the hole with the xing
pin and push the xing pin into the hole. Make sure pin is fully
inserted.
4. Now the direction of the motor is xed.
