40. Next Button – Press to select next Tuner preset or other programmed function such as next
track, disc etc. NEXT Command is programmed at the factory. IR commands must be
programmed by source.
41. Zone ON/OFF Button – Press to toggle zone ON/OFF. Press and Hold to turn all zones
OFF. No programming required.
42. NOTE: The ON/OFF button can be programmed to automatically turn the common source
components ON when the first zone is turned ON and turn them OFF approximately 10
seconds after the last zone has been turned OFF. IR commands must be programmed by
source. See section: PROGRAMMING/IR/Power Management of Common Source
Components.
Front (K-22 Only)
42. Numeric Buttons – Press to select Tuner Presets, or programmed commands for direct
track or disc selection. These buttons can also be programmed for direct access tuning for
cable, satellite etc. These buttons are also used for selecting/deselecting zones in Group
Setup mode. TUNER PRESET Commands are programmed at the factory. IR commands
must be programmed by source.
43. Select Button – In addition to standard source select function, this button changes to the
next page of zones in Group Setup mode. No programming required.
44. +10 Button – Press for use with certain components with +10 command to create ‘11’ from
button presses of +10 & 1 for disc or track select, or station ‘105’ from button presses of +10
& 5 for some TVs. Program IR commands as needed by source.
45. Group Button – Press to enter Group Setup mode. Group Setup mode allows temporarily
‘linking’ zones together for simultaneous control of multiple zones for Source Selection and
Control. No programming required.
46. Disc Button – Press to select a specific disc when used with numeric buttons for disc
changers. IR commands must be programmed by source.
47. Track Button - Press to select a specific track when used with numeric buttons for disc
changers. IR commands must be programmed by source.
Rear (K-8 and K-22 Keypads)
48. Keypad/Speaker Input TerminalOne plug-in four terminal screw connectors for
connecting K-8, K-22 Keypads and speakers to appropriate zone connection on the C-6
Controller.
WARNING: THESE ARE NOT TYPICAL SPEAKER TERMINALS. IMPROPER
CONNECTION OF SPEAKERS OR KEYPADS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE
CONTROLLER, THE KEYPADS AND SPEAKERS. SEE SECTIONS: ‘CONNECTING THE
CONTROLLER - ZONE CONNECTIONS’ AND ‘ZONE CONNECTIONS AND SETUP -
KEYPADS/SPEAKERS’ BEFORE MAKING ANY CONNECTIONS OR TURNING ON THE
MAIN POWER. NEXUS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER DAMAGE CAUSED BY
IMPROPER CONNECTIONS.
49. Speaker Output Terminal – One plug-in four terminal screw connectors for connecting
speakers to keypads.
