Draining the hot water tank
Draining the climate system
The siphon principle is used to drain the hot water
tank. This can be done either via the draining valve on
the incoming cold water pipe or by inserting a pipe
into the cold water connection.
To make it easier to carry out servicing on the climate
system, drain the system first using the filling valve.
CAUTION
There may be some hot water when draining the
heating medium side/climate system. There is a risk
of scalding.
1. Connect a pipe to the system’s external draining
valve.
2. Then open the draining valve in order to drain the
heating installation.
