Boiler Temperature Limiter
Burner Temperature Limiter
Pellux 100 boilers and PBMAX burners have been
provided with temperature limiter to protect them
against exceeding the permissible temperatures.
Pellux 100 has a door closing sensor installed that
alerts the user that the door is not properly closed
(CODE 7.)
If the boiler temperature limiter is activated, it must
be reset to allow returning of the boiler to its normal
operation. To do this, follow the instructions below:
1. Switch the boiler Power OFF.
2. Wait until the boiler cools down.
3. Open the boiler door and remove the three
screws securing the front panel

If the burner temperature limiter is activated, it must
be reset, so that the burner can be returned to its
normal operation. To do this, follow the instructions
below:
1. Switch the boiler and the burner Power OFF.
2. Wait until the boiler cools down.
3. Remove the 4 bolts securing the burner housing.
4. Press the button on the burner temperature lim-
iter.
5. Replace the burner housing.
6. Connect the power cables.
7. Activate the control panel on the boiler.
IMPORTANT
Activation of the STS temperature sensor is a signal
of incorrect system operation, which requires trouble-
shooting. For troubleshooting, check the cleanliness of
the burner, boiler exchanger and turbulators, empty ash
and soot drawers and check the chimney draught.
IMPORTANT
You can only reset the temperature limiter when the
temperature in the boiler drops down below the alarm
temperature. If it is still too high, the STB will trip again
after the reset. This applies to the boiler and the burner
temperature limiter STB’s.
