frame. Classic meter for portraits; preserves background details while letting
lighting
conditions at center

frame

exposure.
Can
be used

focus lock

meter off-center subjects.

Spot
Camera meters area shown by circle in center
of
frame. Ensures
that
subject in
metering target
is
correctly exposed even if background

much
lighter or darker.

Note on Metering
When digital zoom
is
in effect,
at
magnifications
of
1.2x
to
1.8x, [Metering]
is
set
to
[Center-
weighted], and at magnifications
of
2.0x to 4.0X, [Metering]
is
set to [Spot]. When digital zoom
is
in
effect, the metered
area
is
not
shown
in
the monitor.
