Adjust settings for connection to other devices via the camera’s USB data connector.
Select [MTP/PTP] when connecting to computers or Android devices via USB.
Select [iPhone] when connecting to iPhones via a third-party USB‑C to Lightning cable in order to
use NXMobileAir (for information on compatible USB‑C to Lightning cables, see the online help for
NXMobileAir).
Select [USB-LAN] when connecting to a computer or another camera using an Ethernet cable
connected via a third-party USB-to-Ethernet adapter attached to the camera’s USB data connector.
D Caution: “iPhone”
Selecting [iPhone] enables connection only to iPhones running the NX MobileAir app. If you are not
using NX MobileAir, select [MTP/PTP] or [USB-LAN].
D Caution: “USB-LAN”
When [USB-LAN] is selected, the USB data connector functions only for connection to USB-to-
Ethernet adapters and cannot be used to connect to other devices via USB.
